JOrdan & Sonya Seng

Jordan and Sonya Seng founded Bluewater Mission in 2008. They have been married for over 30 years and have two college aged children, and multiple dogs and cats. 

 Jordan is author of “Miracle Work: A Down-to-Earth-Guide to Supernatural Ministries”, and the upcoming “Life of Try.” He has ministered widely through church-planting, teaching, healing and prophecy, and has led training conferences for every major Christian denomination and numerous parachurch and missions organizations in North America, Europe, Latin America, East Asia and South Asia. Jordan holds degrees in political theory from Stanford University and the University of Chicago, and was a National Security Fellow at the School of Government at Harvard. He’s an avid sailor.

Sonya oversees various logistics at Bluewater, leads worship and teaches on occasion. In addition, she is a singer-songwriter and professional actress having enjoyed principal roles on such local favorites as “Lost” and “Hawaii 5-0”. Her album “Time Gives Way” is available on Spotify and other streaming channels.  Born and raised in Honolulu, Sonya earned her Bachelor degree in Music and English from Stanford University, where she and Jordan met.
