Jesus was all about alternatives. He took religion away from the religious and gave it to low-lifes. He told the rich to become poor and made the poor rich. He healed the physically sick with spiritual power. He claimed it was better to love enemies than friends. He sought life by dying. Jesus changed the rules and made the impossible possible.

Bluewater Mission worships together every Sunday at 10AM at Palama Settlement, in the heart of Honolulu. (See our map.) Our services are casual, come-as-you-are events. The teachings are informal, practical and challenging by design. We depend on the Holy Spirit to show up and make it real. The music is modern, the coffee is hot, the people are interesting. Bluewater Kids' classes for ages 0 through 12.

Easter Potluck
Sunday, April 20

Following our Easter Celebration we will be having our annual Bluewater Easter Potluck. Instead of bringing main dishes, side dishes and desserts, we'll be bringing foods according to color. If your last name begins with A through D, bring something white; E through H, bring something green; I through L, bring something brown; M through P, bring something yellow; Q through T, bring something purple; U through X, bring something red; Y and Z, bring something orange.

Freedom Rooms
Sunday, April 27 (Last Sunday of Every Month Except December, 1:00-3:00 PM)

The Bluewater Sozo Team holds monthly Freedom Rooms on the last Sunday of each month except December, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in the church offices. This is a walk-in, first-come first-served time for individuals to experience God through a sample Sozo session. Sozo is the Greek word for healing, freedom, and restoration, and during Freedom Rooms members of the Sozo team will help facilitate a conversation between you and God. Come try it out.

First Friday All-Church Prayer Meeting
Friday, May 2 (First Friday of Every Month, 6:30-8:00 PM)

We feel the Lord is birthing a new season in Bluewater Mission, and he's called us to prayer in order to usher it in. We're setting aside the first Friday evening of each month for a little worship and prayer in the church office. We'll start at 6:30. Everyone is invited. When we pray together, powerful stuff happens.

Newcomer's Luncheon
Sunday, May 4

Join us for a newcomers luncheon after service on Sunday May 4th. The luncheon is open to anyone new to the church and anyone who wants to meet the newcomers. Join us for fellowship and talk story time. Lunch will be provided. Sign up at the connections table at church or contact us at info@bluewatermission.org.

Baby Dedication
Sunday, May 11

If you have a newborn and you would like him or her dedicated to the Lord by the congregation, we'll be setting aside time in the worship service to do just that. Let us know at info@bluewatermission.org that your family would like to participate or sign up at the connections table at church.

"Miracle Work: A Down-to-Earth Guide for Supernatural People" is now available here at Amazon or at Logos Bookstore in Honolulu. Also available as a Kindle e-book!

"What do you tell people when they ask you why most don’t experience miracles today? Is there a guide? Jordan Seng, in a book from IVP, Miracle Work: A Down-to-Earth Guide to Supernatural Ministries, provides a guide and the book is filled with stories of miraculous events/experiences...He has a wonderful story, odd to boot with an abundance of dry – ahem, sarcastic – wit, and I’d say this book is the charismatic power book of the decade. Impressive. Best book on miracle working I’ve ever read." -- Dr. Scot McKnight, Patheos.com
