Jesus was all about alternatives. He took religion away from the religious and gave it to low-lifes. He told the rich to become poor and made the poor rich. He healed the physically sick with spiritual power. He claimed it was better to love enemies than friends. He sought life by dying. Jesus changed the rules and made the impossible possible.
Bluewater Mission worships together every Sunday at 10AM at Palama Settlement, in the heart of Honolulu. (See our map.) Our services are casual, come-as-you-are events. The teachings are informal, practical and challenging by design. We depend on the Holy Spirit to show up and make it real. The music is modern, the coffee is hot, the people are interesting. Bluewater Kids' classes for ages 0 through 12.

"Miracle Work: A Down-to-Earth Guide for Supernatural People" is now available here at Amazon or at Logos Bookstore in Honolulu. Also available as a Kindle e-book!
"Jordan Seng's book is extraordinarily helpful because it answers the "How?" and "So what?" questions being asked by real people. I've seen nothing else like it. It's for everyone looking for sane, intelligent, practical instruction about the miraculous power of God in the twenty-first century." Caleb Maskell, Society of Vineyard Scholars and former Associate Director of the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale University

Heaaling Service This Sunday, May 20
We'll be giving a large part of this Sunday's service over to the ministry of healing the sick. We do this periodically at Bluewater, and we always get some great stories of the Lord's power and grace. Invite anyone who could use some supernatural healing in their bodies. Tell them it's Sunday, 10am, in the Palama Settlement gym.

Last month's Goood Friday and Easter gatherings were wonderful times of worship and thanks for the grace that has come to us in Jesus. Beachside vigil, hula, drama, spoken word, gospel choir, colorful potluck, egg hunt and marshmallow eating contest -- all helped us to make a connection with the One who'd do anything to connect with us.
Mentor & Host Family Training - Justice Ministry
The justice ministry is training new volunteers for mentoring and hosting survivors of sex trafficking. We will be working through a series of short books and videos by reading / watching them individually over a week or two then gathering as a group to discuss. Please see Vern for more information and to get your copy of the first book. vl@traffickjamming.org
