The Service
Bluewater Mission meets every Sunday at 10am in the heart of Honolulu at the Palama Settlement Gym, 810 N. Vineyard Boulevard, oceanside of H-1 and between Palama and Liliha Streets. (See our map.) Our services are casual, come-as-you-are events and usually finish around 11:30. The teachings are informal, practical and challenging by design. The music is modern, the coffee is hot, the people are interesting. Prayer is offered after each service. We hope you'll join us!
Every first Sunday of the month, you're invited to enjoy a potluck lunch after church! We also share communion on the first Sunday of the month.
Every few months, we hold a healing prayer time in place of our regular service. This is a good time to bring friends or relative who need physical healing.
Bluewater Kids
During the adult service, Bluewater Kids provides fun and spiritual engagement for kids age 0-12. Our teaching teams work to introduce kids to hearing God's voice for themselves, praying for physical healing and world change, and sharing God's love with others. There are four groups:
1. Bubbles (Nursery) for age 0 thru 3
2. Splashes (Preschool) for age 3 thru 4
3. Surfers (K thru 2nd grade)
4. Tsunamis (3rd thru 6th grade)
Bubbles and Splashes may be signed in to their groups in the Dining Hall area starting at 9:45 am. If you are bringing children to nursery, please supply a stocked and labeled diaper bag with a labeled drink cup.
Surfers and Tsunamis should be signed in at the Welcome Table before entering into the service. These elementary-aged kids will be escorted to their classes after the musical worship portion of the service -- we encourage them to participate in worship, dancing and using banners if they want.
All children should be picked up from the Dining Hall area after service.
